The road so far…

I started getting more serious about passive income in the month of June 2020. Before that, I had a few products here and there but it was not a lot, and it was chaos.

I created 637 designs in total during that year. I was ultra motivated by the fact that we were confined inside and had more time. It seems like a lot, but it’s more or less 3 designs per day for six months. I used the times I was hyperfixated to create batches of them (sometimes up to 20 at a time if I was inspired) and the rest of the time I would just relax.

I did my best to upload my designs to as many venues and products as possible, and that made a real difference. You can see that, after June, there is a clear increase in sales.

During the year 2020, I sold a total of 330 units, for a total revenue of €621.06 (I am only counting the actual money I received in royalties).

I started strong with the designing in 2021, but after a while I burned out a little.

I only created 328 designs in total that year.
That’s an average of less than one design per day.

It didn’t stop me from making more than the year before. If you compare the earnings both years, it’s pretty good progress for half the amount of work done.

This year, so far, I have only produced 55 designs. I’m focusing on other projects, and resting.

With my chronic illness, and the burn out I had start of the year, I have decided to take it slow.

So far, if you compare with first quarters of previous years, 2022 is going pretty well already!
